Welcome to the Division of Management's blog.
We are hoping to create an online community of faculty and staff from the Division of Management to discuss and exchange ideas related to graduate education and instruction. The ultimate goal of this project is to provide timely and helpful information, tools, and ideas to create a strong community and improve the quality of education for our students. Plus, we promise to keep posting short and sweet, and not overload your favorite RSS reader.
The three specific goals of this blog are as follows:
1. Disseminate and discuss information from the world of higher education
2. Explore technologies in education
3. Exchange best practices (Have something you want to explore with your peers? Tell us.)
You may be tapped to write a guest blog in the future, and if you would like to nominate yourself, please let me know.
Thanks Jessica! The article on generational differences is particularly interesting - it helps me understand people around me better and why it is that I keep a running list in my head of who likes to text but not email, to use cell phone but not landline...and so on. I knew it was complex and now I see some patterns!
